DAVID FRENCH

This year, David French joins his father Rick and our Bowes & Cocks family and will be primarily based out of the Apsley office. Coming to us with a background in all things water, including a degree in Marine Biology and having grown up around the Kawartha Lakes, David is entering into the Real Estate world with a friendly smile, a contagious laugh, and a passion for cottage country and all the lakes/rivers in the area.

Prior to joining Bowes & Cocks, David enjoyed a career as a Geological Lab Technician where he broke down samples from mining sites and determined the make-up of the elements that each sample comprised. David fondly refers to the process as “pouring acid on rocks” while insisting that the work is also far more scientific than he makes it sound.

David has also enjoyed his time in the service industry over the years working as a server at some of our local establishments including, what used to be, The Old Mill in Youngs Point where his natural enthusiasm for talking with everyone and anyone was able to flourish professionally.

Supporting David in all his endeavours is his beautiful (and newly expecting!) wife, Alicia. They were married on February 13th (in the middle of COVID no less!) and could not be happier together in their house in Big Cedar, just north of Burleigh Falls.

Eager and excited to join the team, David has joined us in a blazing hot market and is ready to hit the ground running. Please say hello and introduce yourself to this fine, young gentleman and welcome him to the family.
