About Michael

Early Life and Education: I grew up in Barrie, Ontario, where I learned the value of hard work through various construction jobs. These early experiences not only built my character but also funded my path to higher education. I managed to put myself through university, emerging with a bachelor's degree with majors in both English and Psychology.

Musical Journey: Music has always been a significant part of my life. I am proficient in both guitar and piano, which led me to play in several bands. My passion for music also extended to hosting the open mic at York University for over five years, fostering a vibrant community for fellow musicians.

Professional Beginnings: After completing my education, I transitioned into property management, where I spent five years managing over 50 million dollars worth of real property assets. I honed my negotiation skills, successfully negotiating hundreds of commercial and residential leases, which added depth to my professional capabilities.
Family Life: I am a dedicated family man, blessed with a loving significant other and two incredible children who are the centre of my world. While I might be growing a bit tired of "Paw Patrol," the joy and memories created with my family are priceless and irreplaceable. 

Career in Real Estate: The combination of my hands-on experience in construction, the strategic insight from property management, and the interpersonal understanding gained from my psychology degree, has made Real Estate an ideal career for me. Here, my talents, extensive experience, and negotiation skills can truly shine, creating opportunities not just for myself but for everyone involved in the transactions I manage. I am very happy to be providing Real Estate services to Peterborough and the surrounding area through Bowes and Cock’s Platinum Team.
